PETER CHAMINGS
Documents Manager
Accomplished business leader with extensive experience as a Business Development Manager for Ozdocs Export Documentation software solutions. Developing and implementing solutions across; Food Processing, Dairy, Agriculture and Manufacturing Industries. Previous roles include Export Documentation and Quarantine Declaration processing, Software Solution set up, export logistics planning, customs import & Export management, project management of Logistics solutions, scope and deliver high end technology solutions in logistics. Close working relationship with Customs Brokers, transport and shipping companies on international trade compliance and senior manager in customer service. Extensive experience in leading small to medium teams has provided a valued understanding of people management and how to maximise performance.
PETER RIDDELL
Operations Manager
Involved in International business, trade, logistics, and education for 43 years; 38 of those years in management, senior executive positions, including Executive and non-Executive Directorships and Board Memberships, in a number of Australian and overseas businesses as well as Chair of a peak logistics industry organisation. His career saw him Managing Director of a large international Sea & Air Logistics business, before founding Global Trade Links (GTL), and becoming a pre-eminent advisor and consultant to Australian and International Importers and Exporters, looking at improvements in many aspects of international trade and logistics for customers, both in cost reductions and improved methodologies and efficiencies.
Holding an Industry Training Qualification, Peter also provides in-house training, tailored to meet the individual requirements of businesses involved in International Trade. He has been a key-note speaker on International trading and logistics matters, at Industry events/Universities. Using Peter’s experience, GTL has also ventured into international trading in its own right, major project management, as well as offering businesses an international procurement service, and in-house logistics advice & services.
Following graduation from RMIT University, Peter went on to lecture (part-time) at three Universities, in International Business Under-graduate and Masters degrees, (Subjects included : International Law & Marketing, International Shipping and Logistics, Culture in International Business, Business Communications), and similarly lecturing at several Industry Organisations/Colleges (Institute of Export/College of International Business).
